Gürtaş Agriculture Energy Investments, established by Altınyağ in 1980, has ceased its operations since 2012 with the Board of Directors' Resolution of our company which has 11,700 square meters outdoor and 6,391 square meters of indoor space established in İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone.
Altınyağ Biodiesel
Altınyağ Biodiesel, established under Altınyağ Combine, Inc. in 2013 with the mission of producing biodiesel fuel using semi-refined vegetable oil that Altınyağ has produced, aims to have be a major actor in production of biodiesel fuel which stands out with environmental and sustainable features. Having applied to EMRA for Biodiesel production license, Altınyağ Biodiesel is preparing for ambitious initiatives to shape the emerging biodiesel market in Turkey and in the world.
As an important alternative against limited existing energy sources, the energy crisis and increasing carbon emission, the interest in biodiesel fuel is growing both in Turkey and in the world. With the mission of offering innovative products, Altınyağ invest significantly in R&D activities. With regard to its infrastructure investment upon receiving a license from EMRA, Altınyağ is preparing to make a quick penetration into the market.
It aims to be a recognized brand in biodiesel fuel with a team who has comprehensive knowledge of legislation and standards. Altınyağ Biodiesel gets significant part of its strength from Altınyağ which is a raw material manufacturer. Besides being environmentally friendly, there are some other known advantages of Biodiesel such as; contributing to the drop in prices by increasing competition in countries like Turkey that petrol and diesel is expensive, extending the life of engine due to being a better lubricant than petroleum diesel, being safer due to high ignition temperature, and eliminating foreign dependence through domestic production.
